ISLAMIC ACTION PLAN FOR WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT AN ISLAMIC ALTERNATIVE TO BEIJING PLATFORM FOR ACTION

There has been a growing demand by Muslim women in every International Conference on Women that we should have a fully-fledged islamic action plan (IAP) as an Islamic instrument for women’s empowerment ever since the UN document , platform for action was passed in Beijing in 1995 as an international instrument for women’s empowerment based on gender perspective.
